Hello everyone!
my Siemens eq6 s500 Plus has a defect that I can not clearly assign using the search on the net unfortunately.
If I put the water tank, it is recognized, but the kva tells me that the tank is empty.
However, if I insert the tank slightly tilted, i.e. fitting at the bottom, slightly tilted out of the machine at the top, the water level is detected correctly and the coffee preparation runs without any problems.

Where exactly can the defect lie here? Flowmeter defective?

Thank you in advance!

Kind regardsPeffy

Hello all!

Doesn't anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

There's a float in the water tank, right?
Does it go up when you fill it with water?

You can try to hold a magnet at the housing of the machine, where the float actually is. If the error message goes away, it's the float.
If it doesn't go away, it's the sensor.

My guess is that your tank is calcified and the float is no longer freely movable.

Hello!

The magnet I have already checked, which is free. Strange is just that the level is detected correctly when I insert the tank tilted to the left, so that the magnets are separated from each other. That speaks actually again for magnet sad.gif
