Hello Community,

I am now already quite desperate and therefore turn now in full hope to you.
My Krups EA8298 automatic coffee machine has been out of warranty for about a month (2 years old), when it suddenly began to leak at the bottom. By now it's like (except for a few drops) no water comes out where it's supposed to, but comes completely out from under the machine.
So I took the initiative and disassembled the machine piece by piece to get to the bottom of the problem.
When I finally had the machine completely naked, I was finally able to locate the "leak". After the plunger goes down, all the fluid is leaking out the bottom of the silver thing (the heater?) where that pin with the spring goes up and down. I took a picture of it once and marked the spot.

I really really hope someone here can help me out. I have searched almost the whole net already.

Kind regardsJordan

Hello,

the seal on the brew plunger is broken.

It can be bought separately and can be replaced if you take out this rod with the spring. Since it has a screw in the bottom - on the top of the temple also (you can see if you look from above in the brew group
) Loosen these two, then you can take out the complete brew plunger and replace the seal.

At the opportunity to grease the seal and clean the sieve of the plunger.
