Brewing unit jammed

Hello dear coffee lovers,

I hope you can help me.
My brewing unit is stuck at the bottom, the marc/collecting tray can no longer be removed - can you tell me how to proceed further? I have already
been able to move

up and down using the 1 cup/2 cup buttons, but it is always in the two extreme positions - no trace of the basic setting &
