Krups spring between grinder and brewing unit

Hello,
I do not know how exactly the spring between grinder and brewing unit belongs. I had because of water damage the grinder pulled out briefly. Unfortunately, all the videos and pictures show a much thinner spring than the one installed in my machine. Can anyone help me out with this?
Right now most of the coffee is falling off (because of the spring).

Hello
,the spring is inserted into a specially designed plastic receptacle in a U-shape.This receptacle is engaged in the upper piston of the brew group. The spring can be seen in the attached picture between the brew group and the grinder.wacko.gif
