DeLonghi ESAM 5400 brewing group broken

Good evening,

I have had a DeLonghi ESAM 5400 for years and have now encountered a problem.

I recently cleaned the brew group, re-greased it and put it back in place. When I switched on the machine, the brewing group started up, there was a loud bang and a plastic part broke off.

Now I installed a new brew group and the same thing happened again. (See photos)

What could be the problem?

Hello,

that's a bit thick. If it happens even with a newly installed brewing group, the fault or cause must be somewhere else. But it's really hard to tell from a distance.
I haven't had this case yet either..., sorry

But the brew group was really locked into the sled???
