Water in drip tray, coffee powder wet

My EQ7 has the following error.
During the coffee preparation I hear the grinder running. Then the brew group can be heard where the coffee powder is pressed. Also the pump can be heard. However, the coffee does not run out of the spout, but into the drip tray. I find the coffee grounds wet in the grounds container.

Who can help me locate the fault.
