Hello everyone, has anyone found a solution here yet? I have the same problem after 7 months of operation. I still have the problem with my eq6plus700 even after setting the decalcifier.

Answers to my mails I get from Siemens I do not get.

best regards

Hello, everyone.
I have the same problem as of today and can even add one more as far as the first call for descaling is concerned.
I have been using the EQ6 Plus 300s for 5 days. Completely put into operation according to instructions on New Year's Day. Water hardness 1, because I use tap water from a Brita water filter. I also used and activated the supplied filter. Today came the message "20 more cups > then decalcify".
After I had gotten another cup, the message came 15 more cups then decalcifying. So a real Kaffebezug counted the machine as 5 :-(.
After that I had checked my settings again, which are as described above.
Then I checked the reference counter. I have a full 20 cups of coffee and 4 milk drinks on the counter.
This is absolutely blatant, which is why, as already mentioned here, it is only a technical or software technical problem.
A call to the Siemens hotline is pointless, because today, after 3 attempts with 1.5h each in the queue, I have broken off or given up ("At the moment, all employees are conducting customer calls. Please be patient. You will be connected to the next freelancer. Please wait.").
Now I took the tip from above and set it to "decalcifying plant". Let's see what happens.
However, I already feel the need to return the device due to a technical defect, as the many contributions here already show me that it does not seem to me to be an isolated case, but a fundamental problem of the device. What will be to be expected when such a simple thing causes problems?
I would definitely not buy the device anymore, even if it is super quiet and also makes a top coffee.
Maybe my field report will help some here.
Best regards. Martin.

We have the same problem we decalcify and after 5 to 6 cups there are still 20 cups and we should already decalcify again it annoys only still.

Hello, everyone! sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Siemens has not managed to solve the software problem "descaling" in your fully automatic coffee machines (update)!

It lights up again after a few cups!

One decalcifies quite conscientiously after operating instructions and the problem is immediately again there.

The program (software!) does not recognize the decalcification and does not return to the beginning!

I have my machine, EQ.6 - Series 300 - TE603501DE, already 3 times in repair!

It's very tedious and annoying!

I've ordered something else.

Hi
I have a new EQ6 plus 100 and after 3 months the machine asked for de calcification. I did it as per the manual and using the original Siemens tablet but I keep getting the message again after 5-10 cups.
I did over 10 decalcification but the message keeps coming back.
Has anyone been able to fix this problem?

Hello,

as I wrote the other day, I have set the descaling system and filter in my machine. Since then I have also no more problems.
After about 50 cups or more the message "perform calc'n clean" came up, if you ignore this message you will be threatened to lock the machine. After another 50-80 cups, the above message came back. Of course I decalcified and cleaned.
Conclusion: I can live with the result, because descaling is important, and so I can't forget it.

ICHE: could you please post this ominous key combination here?

I have the same problem eq6 series 300 with the decalcifying set to decalcifying system and filter, now it is gone, thanks for the info

We have the same problem. An acquaintance said (had the problem too) with the change of the ceramic valve it was gone. Since then he has been quiet and has made 260 cups to date. I will also exchange it

Oh, dear, I'm not the only one with a problem. Our fully automatic coffee machine EQ.6 plus s700 is almost half a year old. So far it has been running without any problems. The only thing is that the brewing unit is a bit difficult to put in and out. But: Now it has started to demand a decalcification EVERY DAMNED WEEK. (we have the previous machine at work and although 10 people use it almost every day, it cries out regularly every 2-3 months after descaling)Before it was every 2-3 months, if at all with ours! (every few 100 coffees)In the meantime I can hardly keep up with ordering the Siemens tabs (we don't have them in our shop... :-/ )Now, after waiting forever for an answer from Siemens, I had them sent in. A messenger came (after 2x asking if they would contact me after more than 2 weeks to pick her up) - picked her up and in the meantime she has been at Siemens for more than 1 week without any reaction so far... :-/ After your postings I am curious what to expect IF we finally have her back. huh.gifdry.gifsad.gif
Good luck to all of you, I am still on caffeine withdrawal for the time being...

I think I might have found a solution.

I did clean everything and done all kinds of factory reset No luck.

Eventually I have activated a water filter setting but without really installing the filter. This has moved the number from 20 something to 900! After maing a coffe the number has actually went up!

Then I have deactivated the filter and the number dropped to 127. After making a coffe it actually gone up to 130 ...

I hope that means its fixed now smile.gif

Hello everyone, if anyone else has the notorious problem that the machine needs to be descaled every few cups: I spoke to the support yesterday and they gave me the following tip which apparently works. Just take out the milk system during cleaning in the evening (behind the cover of the coffee spout) and draw a small cup of hot water twice. This will rinse the nozzles in the outlet system. In the workshop, they do nothing else, given the error pattern in the first step. With me it worked and the counter runs backwards.

Howdy, howdy, howdy. I got it too. I
have an EQ6 s700 and with factory reset and setting to decalcification system I have the problem that after
about 150 cups the machine wants to be decalcified.

After the factory reset I

read the meter

after each purchase of coffee, milk drinks or

water. After descaling: Until the descaling of 1700 cups at the beginning
the machine counted 55 then 35 then later 15 and 5 cups per cup
without a recognizable system.
Today, 913 cups were still being looked at until descaling, one
Macciato brewed Message

: PLEASE

DECALCATE IN 20 CUPS.

I checked the service menu, the message appears after exactly 20 litres of

water have passed through. And now?
By the way, an EQ6 S300 was running perfectly before and I had to
descale
with hardness setting 3 every few
months. Is there

perhaps an older software that can be installed

? I

can

read out

my software version again later

.

See

you then

Best regards Christian

Hello, I first had to carry out an immediate descaling after approx. 10 months. After that the descaling message appeared constantly. Reducing the water hardness did not help, resetting via the service menu did not help either. While leafing through the error log in the service menu I noticed that the ceramic valve had timeouts. After the reset did not work, I tested all functional steps of the valve in the service menu about ten times and then did a factory reset. The descaling message disappeared. My guess: (lime?)particles/deposits in the valve, which could not be removed by descaling alone. By running the function tests several times, these may have dissolved. But I am not sure if this solves all problems.

Same problem with a 2 month old EQ6 s700, we are trying to fix the valve. Let us decalcify it again and see if it works.

Very, very, very, very annoying!! I would like to keep the machine, but if it cannot be solved, it will definitely come back or be sent in.
