Hello!
I am new here and first hello to all!
Now the problems start with my EQ5.
Of course there is no guarantee anymore and before I pay a flat rate of 200 Euro for repairs I ask here.

To the problem

When making coffee, water is pumped.is ground only nothing comes out at the front.
The clear water lands in the collecting container and the ground coffee is only slightly moist.
With hot water nothing comes exactly as with rinsing.
Machine was cleaned regularly completely and decalcified.
Have a filter with in.

Here a video where you can see where the water flows out during rinsing.

My accurate model is

TE 503509DE/05

would be grateful for any TIP.
I don't know my technique very well yet, so please give me some beginner-friendly tips.
Thank you!!!!!

Hello,
Bin also new here and have with my Surpresso S50 exactly the same problem
as stovo69.
I already disassembled the machine, replaced several gaskets, cleaned and reassembled everything. Unfortunately without success.

I hope for some tips from you.

Greeting Bert

Good evening,

get one at "juraprofi.de" a new bruising valve and a new coupling for the drainage valve assembly. The clutch is very easy to clip out and the new one to clip in. The brueh valve is located on the mounting plate inside the machine. For the Brueh valve, the two side walls must be removed. There are also very good instructions at "juraprofi.de" about how to proceed in detail.

Hello!

Thanks HWS for the tip.
I once looked at juraprofi.
The brewing valve I found only the coupling not.
Could you send me a suitable link to the coupling.
Would be really nice of you wink.gif

So there I am again.
The 2 parts arrived today.
I opened the box immediately and changed it.
After about 2 hours of peace and quiet, I put it inside too.
Full of anticipation the machine turned on and the first rinsing came the disillusionment.
No water out.....everything ends up in the bowl.
Now I give the machine to my neighbor....he works at Siemens Household Technology.
Let's have a look.
If I'm smarter I write my experiences.

Hello,

I'm sorry there's still nothing up front. It can now only be due to the BE itself. But the exchange of the two parts did not do any harm. There is another gasket in the cylinder bottom where the lower piston goes back and forth. If this is emaciated, then only one, not new, but newer BE will help. I haven't found this gasket in the spare parts suppliers' offer yet.

Hello!

Today my machine came back.......unfortunately the way I had left it.
The neighbour's colleague doesn't do anything private at work anymore. Too bad.

Straight line on Ebay ne BE bought for 25 euros ..... can not hurt the price wink.gif

>I don't think it's the fault, but you'll see.
Ne other question !
What's the white container next to the drive where a hose from the pump goes in and a hose goes to the drain valve? Exactly in this area the water flows into the bowl.
Could it be leaking?

2nd question
Could somebody tell me about the fluid system.
Only so roughly that I know which way the water takes. Think to me that there are several ways.
Once for coffee, hot water and to rinse

Thank you

The white container is the expansion vessel. There is a small hole at the bottom through which the residual water and the rinsing water flow into the bowl. Even if there is overpressure after the pump, it flows into the expansion tank and from there into the drip tray. The hole is intended there. I didn't find a water flow chart. But hot water or coffee are regulated by the brewing valve on the mounting wall in the middle of the appliance.
Only so much more: you are close to success!

Hi!

Habs finally got it done biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
Had ordered a new pump on good luck.
I barely got the old one out and the new one in........about 1 hour working time.
And then something finally came out the front.
Now I can finally drink a freshly ground coffee again. Man I'm glad !
The only thing that doesn't work is the hot water. There comes only steam.
Although thanks again to HWS for the tips !
Ciao

Most of the water comes under the brewing unit at the front. It is best to revise BE. Hotcoffeemaschinenservice offers a gasket set for the BE for 10 Euro, postage included.
Dismantle the brewing unit. Remove the lower piston. There is a groove seal in the centre hole of the brewing cylinder. This seals the piston rod during pressing, so that no water can get through down there. Fiddle out the gasket with a little screwdriver. New gasket with patience & skill fumbling in with the fingers & the help of a screwdriver. Is something heavy & requires dexterity
.

The water from the expansion tank probably comes from the worn brewing valve.

It's best to get

a

new one.
