Super clean brewing unit indicates cleaning after grinding

Hello forum, would like your help.
Had bought a used Siemens EQ.5 last week and cleaned it well before use.(also at the springs etc.).
It works fine when I put ground coffee in the side compartment but every time after grinding the coffee it indicates it needs cleaning. The coffee is then still in the piston compartment but also next to it, see photo.
My knowledge is too limited to find a cause for this ( definitely has to do with the grinding but what?)
I would appreciate it if someone can help or refer me. Thanks in any case...

Hello, unfortunately I do not quite understand your execution.
The EQ5 has a grinder that turns whole beans into coffee powder.
But that then still coffee grounds are filled into the powder drawer, I do not really know.
Since the brewing unit will certainly be overfed and grumble.
So write that exactly what you do and please make pictures.

No problem.
1. Fill app. with water and beans.
2. brewing unit is like new so clean it is.
3. i press start for a coffee cream.
4. I hear the app. grinding and stops and says clean brewing unit.
5. took out brewing unit, see photo.
6. put brewing unit clean again in the app.
7. already ground (not by the app.) coffee in the special tray for it, see manual EQ.5.
8. i press start coffee cream (menu says ground coffee)
9 everything works flawlessly.
10. container for ground coffee is now empty.
11. i press start for a coffee cream. (so no menu message "ground coffee".
12. I hear the grinder and brewing unit doing their work.
13. Everything stops and the display says clean brewing unit.

My suspicion is that there is something going on with the grinding because it is set to fine and there is, upon removing the brewing unit, about an inch of fine ground coffee in there with very coarsely ground beans on top and down there.
This, as you can see in the picture, creates a kind of overflow of beans and stops the app. Hope it's clearer that way....

I have solved the problem.
It was the grinder, disassembled it and found a lot of dirt. Also under the lower disc where there is a spring ring..so it wasn't springing anymore...cleaned everything spotless, adjusted the upper ring (arrow versus arrow) and put the whole thing back together..and it works like it's supposed to!
