no water from coffee spout

Machine grinds coffee, but water comes out at the bottom of the container and not through the coffee spout. Water does come out of the hot water nozzle/steam nozzle, when prompted. What could be the problem?Siemens Surpresso S50 (TK65001)

Remove the cover on the drip tray and then look where the water comes out. Drainage valve, brewing unit. Broken angle brewing unit. There are several possibilities.

Removed the front and the water is coming from above somewhere and running past the brewing unit in several places.
