Saeco Incanto doesn't bring any water for short co

Does anybody know why my Saeco Incanto SUP 21 Y doesn't bring any water for short coffee?
If i push the button for long coffee, it's working, the water comes out. But if i want a short coffee, i can hear the machine grinding the coffee and after that it stops. It doesn't brew the coffee.

Stay on the button until you have the filling quantity that you want. After that, the amount should be saved.
Probably the amount is set too small and therefore no water comes.

Thank you for you message. But it used to work last days, now it's blocked, somehow.
4 days ago i didn't have coffee beans anymore and i tried to have a coffee with ground coffee. It didn't work and also, after i switched on beans, it didn't brought any water. With the button for long coffee it worked and still works, instead.

Hello, as a note for this case:
On the board sits a buffer battery.
Should be replaced times possibly.
