EQ.9 S300 Beans not grinding, only drip water

Hey guys,

I have a Siemens EQ.9 S300 that is not grinding coffee beans and going directly to dripping water.

There is no Fill Beans message and the bean container is full but it goes straight to the water drip. I have cleaned the coffee shaft and removed the beans and cleaned, and program rinsed the machine and brewing unit.

I don't know what else I can do than to take the machine apart and tinker around with it, but I would like to avoid that.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

That should help you find out what is wrong.

Other than the missing grinding, are the pump noises normal? Do you get any water coming out of the nozzles? ever? I mean, not even running a rinsing cycle? That might be a problem with the three-way valve. What I find strange is that you are not getting any error messages on the screen.

It should be possible to remove the grinder without opening the machine other than from the top, see here..
