Hello, me again...

mir has noticed that the amount of liquid at the beginning comes out of the spout like the mouse tails, but with increasing duration wird´s less and less. Now if I have an espresso for 25 seconds. (grinding degree) and later increase the amount of water for a macciato to "much", the poor machine pumps forever and the result is only a few drops from about the first third of the reference time.

Is something wrong? Pump at the end? Grinding degree wrong? Hands not washed?

Questions about questions - I hope you won't let me die stupid wink.gif

A Macchiato is also no more than an Espresso
u. which either only with foam - or with milk & foam
(Latte-Macchiato)

The water problem remains ! (3 possibilities)

- Either you always change the grind (for coffee coarser - cumbersome)

- Od. you make a macchiato as it should be (espresso only)
would I do so !

- Od. - you choose an intermediate setting of the grind - where you just don't espresso an espresso - 30sec. The coffee has only 15-20 sec throughput time.
(as it is standard with all other VA´s)
Then an extended coffee or Schümli also comes relatively fast.

Gruß
Jürgen

Hello Jürgen,

>According to what you write, the decreasing amount of liquid would be normal?
Shouldn't it go even better if some of the "goodies" have already landed in the cup, i.e. the water has to be pressed by less coffee powder?

Thoughtful greetings
Florian
