The brew group may only be removed when the machine is switched off.

I turned on the coffee maker this morning and overlooked the fact that the drawer was not completely in. Then the display showed "system error 8". The brew group can not be removed, even the lever for it with the red element has blocked.
Does anyone here know what to do?

Keep doing the trick. on button and mycoffe.

eventually it will align or break!

For anyone finding this via Google and not finding the two suggested solutions working for them, try again.

I had to do the pear shaped hole button trick ten or twenty times. The first times it did nothing, the three prong knob barely rotated. 8th or 9th time it started moving slightly more, until finally it worked.

Clean your machines often.
