Good morning,
currently I landed here because the Nivona 970 displays an error where I obviously only get on with a call to the service.......The brewing unit can also no longer be inserted.
We've had it for a year, had a Bosch of it for a long time and before that again a Jura.
The Bosch lasted the longest.
But to your question: I would not choose the Nivona again. When I bought it, I was convinced by the milk foam system, which does not require manual steaming and cleaning after a cappuccino, for example. That's fine if you get a lot of coffee with milk.
But it was comparatively expensive and brings in my opinion otherwise no added value.
What I do not like at all is that it is not good to clean.
Especially around the brewing unit (which can no longer be inserted this morning) coffee grounds accumulate, which can be removed only with difficulty - with a toothpick - and also not completely. Also, there was already 3 times days after a system cleaning suddenly a ball of coffee grounds in the water collection container - with traces that indicate either remains of the cleaning rod or mold.
I find the coffee taste good, our daughter in turn recently asked which coffee we use because it did not taste at all.
