Hello,
after approx. 9500 draws, the pomace became increasingly coarse and pulpy, apparently due to wear of the grinder.
The grinder setting was already in the finest position.
Here are the instructions on how to readjust the grinder in a very simple way:
1. Pull out the grinder adjuster upwards in the finest setting.
2.Use a knife to adjust the grind adjuster as shown in the photo.
3. Insert the grind adjuster about 80% again, turn it 90 degrees to the right
and then insert it completely. The grinder is now set to coarse.
4. Prepare a new cup of coffee and during the grinding process turn the grinder adjuster
counterclockwise to fine.
5. The grinder can be further adjusted to fine by pulling out the
grinder adjuster approx. 20%, turning it 90 degrees clockwise
and fully engaging it again. Then continue as described under 4.

Logically, I assume no liability for any damage that may be caused by the change described above.

Good luck
Gerdipp

Hello,

thank you for your contribution, I also have the problem with the mushy grounds. It doesn't come out as coffee powder, but as granules.
Do you also have a ceramic grinder? I'm willing to try your instructions, but I'd rather be on the safe side - not that you have a stainless steel grinder and the idea of ceramic isn't so great.
And what do you mean by "process with a knife"?
Greetings from the Pflaz
