Titanium does not heat regularly

Posted by: oxmox July 04, 2008 06:00 pm

Hello, unfortunately I also have problems with my Titanium: 1. At irregular intervals it decides to only serve cold coffee (tastes disgusting by the way...) A complete restart, i.e. switching off, disconnecting from the mains, waiting 30 minutes and switching on again helps and the coffee is hot again.
2. At irregular intervals it decides to throw part of the ground coffee next to the sieve; i.e. the coffee is very thin and the powder is to the right of the brewing group.... Remedy see above.

Do any of you have any idea what to do about it? Unfortunately there is no guarantee anymore and it doesn't seem to be really broken either; at least it works again and again for 20-30 cups.

Gaggia wanted to change by the way concerning the problem with the heating any plates for scarcely 400, - €. Would that help and if so you can do it yourself?

I would be very happy about suggestions for solutions!
