Hi guys, I'm new here.
After a few years of Nespresso, I recently switched to a fully automatic coffee machine. After a little research, I ended up with the Miele CM5310.
We like to drink cappuccino, and at first I didn't think the idea of "putting the hose in the milk carton" was bad. But after a few days, it started to get annoying.... The Delonghi Nespresso machine had a removable milk tank that you could simply put in the fridge after the cappuccino was made. I don't want to talk about the milk foam quality of this solution (the new fully automatic machine does *much* better), but it was comfortable. And it was precisely because of the comfort that I got myself a fully automatic machine.
So I started looking around for solutions to the "milk problem". More accurately, it's a "milk tube problem." Because when I want to put the milk carton back in the fridge after successfully making a cappuccino, I have a hose dangling there that has milk on the outside and inside of it. On the inside it is rinsed away when I tell the machine to do so, but on the outside I have to wipe it off myself, or take the whole hose off and wash it in the sink.
Then I saw that this is often solved with special milk containers, where the hose is "extended" by a fixed tube to the bottom of the container, but you can remove the hose just comfortable on top, and it also no longer comes into contact with milk from the outside. However, the containers look quite bulky, and I'm afraid they are difficult to find a place in the refrigerator (e.g. https://www. miele.de/haushalt/geraeteausstattung-1898.htm?mat=11574240&name=MB-CM-G), at least not in the door.
So the next logical step was to look for a milk cooler. That would be even more comfortable, because you don't have to carry the milk from the fridge to the coffee maker and back... There are not too many (for home use), but I found this one: https://www.dometic.com/de-de/professional/hotels-and-hospitality-solutions/milk-coolers/dometic-myfridge-mf-05m-64632
Now the only question is: Are these milk hoses the same for all brands, or does everyone cook their own soup? Has anyone perhaps exactly this device in combination with a Miele coffee machine in use?
Are there any other suggestions for solutions?
Thank you very much and greetings
,Patrick.
