Hello
I have a Delonghi Ecam 23.420 and the following problem.
It is the reset ( no idea how it is named ) for the brewing piston broken off and I do not know how to remove it. The part is mounted on the outside wall above the flap for the brewing group.
Has anyone any idea or experience with this model.
Thanks in advance

in the coffee world you will find instructions for disassembling the ECAM brewing group after registration in the download area.

Hello
Thank you for your answer, but that doesn't help me. I may have expressed myself a little wrong, but I couldn't describe it better.
Try again.
The brewing group has 2 levers that move the brewing piston. These are moved when the brewing group moves up or down by bumping somewhere. One is at the bottom right ( such a tongue with spring ) and then there must be a second one. I think this is attached to the inside above the door.
I have attached another photo, which might explain the whole thing better.

I know it's been a few years, but have you been able to solve the problem?
I have exactly the same problem and don't know
what to do next.

@ ice
is something broken off with you? If yes, have a picture of the part? What's the problem now? How
's the machine? For

all delonghis: remove the brewing unit regularly and check if the brewing unit is soft to move or if it is already quite tight.

for the latter

: disassemble the brewing unit, remove the old grease with benzine, clean the sealing rings, lubricate everything properly with silicone grease (incl. this pipe shaft on the

inner walls), remove the

sieve and

clean the

inside

.

90% of the mechanical faults on the brewing groups come from brewing units that are too stiff because they are not taken care of enough. This causes bigger damages (like brass nut of the drive doll etc...) as I noticed

.
