Water indicator flashes, too little water coming in

Hello all,

The water indicator on my Esam is flashing. When I let out hot water via the steam regulator, it goes out. Then the next cup breaks early again, the water light flashes.

In addition, the machine wants to be decalcified, although I have already run the program three times.

I have cleaned the brewing unit. I also had the BE and water tank from my mother's machine in it as a test. Same error. That can't be the problem then...

Does anyone have any ideas what else I could try?

The upper brewing piston will be calcified. The is not decalcified with the descaling.
You can make descaler in the water tank, then draw hot water until the descaler comes and then try a few times to rinse. If you are lucky it will clear.
But use a good descaler based on amidosulfonic acid. Durgol, Eilfix eg.
