Hello,

I have the following "problem"

The machine is 3 days old and makes almost no milk foam.
For example, I choose Latte machiato and go to the max milk quantity/foam what 220ml should be and place a large glass under it about 0.4l then the machine manages it that at the end Max. 1.5-2cm milk foam on the drink are. Same with cappuccino. The glass can't be filled either. Max 3/4 at the end.

I talked to Melitta on the phone and they told me at the hotline 1,5cm would be fine?!?!? Is that so? Clear the foam is nice and creamy but I don't have much of the creamy foam. sad.gif The milk is cold too. So that can't be it.
The drink is not that hot either. The coffee already but the milk is moderately warm.

Gives's here someone who has the same engine and can confirm to me that this is so right?
Or else has an idea.
A known one has a siemens and there the same glass overflows almost before masses of foam.

I'm already toying with the idea that I'm giving it back. But the taste and aroma are good. Only the foam doesn't.

Thank you for your support. cool.gif

You could also put the milk frother in hot water overnight, maybe there are some deposits from the production on it, but I'm afraid you just want too much of your coffee machine... a cappuccino like in a restaurant or...?

If it is then please try milk with room temperature for the preparation... The foam becomes creamier. If you don't, you'll need an extra milk frother.

If you want a lot of foam, you should try it with a very cold milk... the consistency could be firmer so that the foam is better supported.

I have that at the beginning. The milk was 2-4 degrees. Apparently, I guess it's nothing to change.

What other machine is comparable to the Melitta? (Good coffee, espresso, cappuccino) one touch preferred. 😁

Hello I've had a Melitta Caffeo Solo Perfect Milk here, now a Siemens EQ5 and an EQ7.
Cream machines are not, they never will be.
You still have warranty and talk to the Melitta service they are very friendly,
whether they would like to send one of their people by.because of the too little foam.
Dismantle the cappuccinatore to clean it. and clean it again with milk cleaner.

Even a professional appliance does the milk foam like this.
before I close here, how much protein does your milk have, do you have the protein content compared to the one your girlfriend uses for foaming? Only protein is the reason why the milk foams so beautifully and at the same time it should have refrigerator temperature.
MfG Chris
