Check where the water stays, there are some causes also an unclean/defective flowmeter can be the culprit sen.
Please describe the error more precisely.

Hy Chris, now after switching on, and when the water is heated up, the machine does a rinse.

This rinsing process involves very little water in the front of the coffee spout and a relatively large amount runs into the drip tray.
If the flowmeter lost water, this water would not end up in the drip tray but would run out somewhere at the bottom of the machine... or?

Hello,

You have to find out when and where the water is running into the drip tray.
Clip out the stand wall of the tray at the best and look into the front of the device when you move in.
It is also possible that the devices behave differently depending on the software version - MUST not be an error.

I just looked in the front, most of the water flows out of the small container which is put on the drainage valve, some drops come down at the brewing unit.

I also noticed that it is already dripping out of this container while the boiler is heating up

Hello had read me.
So the drainage valve will probably be the cause.
A few drops from the brewing unit, means there also to look where from, lower brewing stamp?
Oder of the brewing head, valve bridge torn or the brewing head at the hose side.

Someone else has an idea what could be to blame besides the drainage valve....

Could the new drainage valve also be defective?

I answer with Yes, check the one with the thin scarf and in the sink if the black housing has a hairline crack.

Hello everybody I got a Caffeo Solo machine as a present.
After switching on, the error already described here occurred. After that I googled and came across this article.
A new drainage valve is also used in my case.
However, too much water comes into the drip tray and the pomace container is filled with damp mud.
Also the brewing unit looks dirty.

May still have to do with the microswitches of the drive wheel. So switch position may not be 100% correct.

I made a video .... At the end of the video is a sound that sounds like overpressure and flushing. blink.gif

Hello Mike...
I would reviedien once the brew group and replace the seals, then the brew should no longer be so muddy.

Regarding water in the drip tray, I'm with my machine still not further, but had lately little time to determine the cause.
The drainage valve I changed twice and no improvement...

I was going to rebuild part by part of my second fully working machine....so the driver for the drainage valve, gearbox...etc...

think that it could be the gearbox....maybe wear could be phenomena....

should you come to a solution, please let me know

For some time now we have been exchanging the lip seal of the brewing group for a Jura piston seal. Result, the puks are solid and almost dry-

The brewing group has got new gaskets and the piston gasket I test with ... i have had another idea what could be the reason ....at the actuator or at the position of the microswitches ...do you have a picture of the basic position ?

Hello,
I also have a Melitta caffeeo solo
and milk.

I just got off the phone with support. And they have meant "that is absolutely normal the fully automatic machine rinses after each coffee reference into the drip tray and the rinsing goes likewise to the large part into the drip tray". Somehow logical because the drip tray is not so

big

without reason

.

So I hope it helps you at least a bit before you buy new parts.
