Hello,

I'm Sebastian and I'm close to open a bakery with my wife. Our plan is to bake and sell eclairs.
However, we would also like to sell coffee for interested people.
Because we want to start small we won't have a dedicated barista.
So, we'll basically do everything together, in two, at least for the first months.

Therefore I'm looking for a good bean-to-cup machine that could serve a great coffee without much intervention from us.

I've read countless reviews and I can not decide what the best option will be for us.
I've looked at brands such as:
WMF
Jura
Schärer
Delonghi
Siemens
Saeco
Miele
Thermoplan
Melitta
Breville
And I think the list can go one.

After studying all of them I'm not sure anymore what is the right one for us.
However I know what I'm looking for:
- ebay (in europe) price should be less than 1500 euros (without VAT).
- ideally will have two beans compartments (nut a must).
- will have automatic milk/foam system but a manual system too.
- will have a manual coffee feed compartment (for people that will want a decof)
- reliable
- excellent expresso
- high temperature on foam
- easy to configure and select different types of beverages.

Of course, those are ideal requirements.
I'm expecting to serve less than 40-50 cups of coffee per day.
I'll have no problem refilling coffee compartments and refilling with water.

Thank you very much,
Sebastian

Hello
- my
opinion: A

KVA is not an espresso machine and makes no ("excellent") espresso but bigger and smaller coffees with foam. This is not meant to be judgmental, but in my opinion it is not

a highlight

as an additional offer of a speciality cafe

. The

price class, the number of cups, the presentation of different (selected?more expensive?regional?) types of coffee, the use of ground coffee (I understand it that way...) and the automatic milk foam system as well as the lance somehow

do not

fit either

. Why don't you

tell us more about the coffee, if there are any ideas

?

Perhaps you can be completely discouraged from using a vending machine and score points with other preparation variants - press and manual filter systems are just in full swing and perhaps make the icing on the cake in the planned ambience.

Jura X 9 or Franke Flair would be the same for a start. There are good used ones for 1000-1500 €. Large water tank, two grinders, double milk system (foam and warm milk) in automatic mode and a steam lance (cup preheating). Milk foam is never hotter than 60° C or it collapses. Espresso can only be made by a sieve carrier machine that has sufficient pressure.
