Hello,
at my bistro the steam container fills up "apparently" not properly! (ALL) valves I have checked for dirt and calcification and cleaned!

In the service menu there are various ways to approach valves by hand! I should actually also be able to approach the filling valve there. But actually, I don't hear a "clack" on any valve. except for hot water, it's clear to hear. I was able to move the filling valve (I assume it is on the lower right of the machine) with a car charger. So I assume that this is mechanically and electrically ok.

Thus I have of course always NW-steam container untouched in the display. I bridged the electrode. Then heating is possible and somehow everything really works. However, the system overheats after a while! An electrode exchange did not produce a positive result.
I'm sure I'm going right if I assume that at least as long as water should be refloated until "NW-Contacted" is?

Now I can only suspect that the drive electronics has a defect somewhere! Does anyone have a tip like I could go before?

The riddle is solved!
The magnet coil in the lower right corner was defective. I just swapped another coil for another one. It just so happens that two coils weren't okay. I wondered for some time that I was only steam from the hot water button came. But because I didn't need much water I didn't immediately get it blink.gif Under pressure the power of the coil probably wasn't enough to open! With the car charger and without pressure this worked without any problems.

I learned that on the left side there is another board with four LED´s Luckily this was a relatively expensive part not defective.

Fazit: I'm now reasonably fit to repair an ECF biggrin.gif

Hello dear WMF coffee machine owner,

since you know so well about the Bistro, I also have a question to you. Our bistro just doesn't want to brew full cups anymore. An espresso is still possible, the water is simply not enough for a cup of coffee. Then she starts humming strangely and the water only runs into the cup drop by drop. At first there is good water, but then it gets slower and slower and slower and it makes the humming noise.
You might be able to help us, I would be happy.
Many thanks in advance.
Günter

The water is measured! An error message (F1) should appear in the display.

Yes, from time to time the machine brings F1, but really only from time to time. What strikes me is that the coffee ground is very wet. And sometimes the brewed coffee is a little thin. Who can help?
