On/Off pre-rinse doesn't clean coffee spout

On switching ON or OFF the water used to clean the coffee spouts.
Now it just goes straight to the drain tray.
It also does this on pressing the rinse button.
I've cleaned the diffuser unit.
What else do I need to check?
