,just signed up and couldn't find my error! at Neff I didn't get any help by phone, except an offer to pick up the machine for 280,€ to fix the error

The error: As I was expecting a visitor, I wanted to clean the coffee machine again and carried out the Calk&Clean procedure, with descaling agent/liquid in the water container and a tablet in the powder filler compartment. That always worked very well. Even if you did it two times in a row. The first process was finished and I wanted to clean the machines again. I found out that the function of the selector switch is defective. You can tilt it to the right or left, but it does not switch!? It is set to Espresso mild/small and no other setting is possible. I suppose that something has to be reset in the machine, but on the phone they wouldn't
