MELITTA CAFFEO SOLO - coffee fall outside brewing

Hi.
so I got as a project an un-working or maintained Melitta Caffeo Solo machine
after I replace all the sealing rubbers and the defringe unit, and the coffee grinder disks, the machine is working fine and coffee is good but, but there is one issue I couldn't resolve yet, the issue is that after the machine grind the coffee into the brewing unit, a lot of coffee grinds fall outside the brewing unit into the drip tray area and make a lot of mess outside the brewing unit, not only that it is wasting coffee it is almost not impossible to clean and its happend after 1-2 coffee cups. I am attaching a picture of the area as an example. thanks for any help and advises.
note that sending this machine to a repair center its not an option cause it will make this project un worthy.

What kind of grinding cones did you use? If they are V5 then too much is ground. The have a different grinding and do not really fit the machine.

I just did another test now and noticed the after the coffee is grinded and the brewing unit is full on the proccess when it is shifting to the breweing area there is a tiny internal "hit" and then I see the coffee flies away lol, what can cause it?

Grinding finer set and try again. I still believe that the wrong grinding cones are installed.

so first of all the problem was even before with the original cones that came from the factory.
second I checked with the new cones seller and yes the are V5 but acc to is compabilty list it is for the melitta caffeo solo and even my specified model is written there.
of course that before I replace the cones I compre the old with the new ones and they look and sized exacly the same no difference at all, but still this issue happened even before and I thought that the cones replacement will solve this some how but the issue still here.
