EQ6 S600

Hi Guys!
My EQ6 keeps coming up with "Voltage too high / low" ?? if u then turn it off on the power outtage and then back on, the fault goes is gone for a minute or 2.

Any ideas???

Hi it is known problem related to measuring circuitry on primary voltage side. After primary rectifier is voltage divider which divides primary voltage to level which is measured by AD converter in MCU. Divider has on high side 2 x SMD1206 resistors 470k in serie. One or both has lower value then 470k and measures voltage it higher than threshold. Best solution is exchange these resistors and all will work fine. Same controll board is used also in BOSCH VeroAroma models too.

The red resistor 18k is workaround how to solve issue without SMD soldering but much better and cleaner solution is change 2x 470k SMD resistors in serie whose are on right side in red circle

Got the same problem and found this post. Looks fairly easy to fix using the added resistor - however, I got a question…The image says 180k but you write 18k. Which size is correct?

same question for me , is it 18K or 180K

does anyone know the power rating for the SMD1206 470K resistors (or alternatively the supply voltage)

Do you have experience with the removal of the control board. I know through a video how I disassemble the coffee machine, but I do not know where the circuit board sits. Is that obvious where it is placed? Greetings go out. End. Sven:D

This worked for me, thanks alot.
I soldered a 180k carbon resistor on the circuit board as shown on the picture in this thread. Now it works without complaints

How did you solder the resistor in place near the 131 resistor ?
