Insert water tank

Hello everyone ????,

My automatic coffee machine permanently reports "insert water tank" although it is inserted. Now I have seen that the small magnetic float floats around freely in the tank and does not stay in place when I fill the water tank. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

If you tell us the exact type of your machine, we can help you more specifically.
There is usually a plastic cap over the float holder that keeps the float in place.
You probably accidentally dropped this cap down the drain.

,Have the same problem with the EQ9 - S100.
The machine permanently reports "Insert water tank" although this is inserted.
What can this be, machine is now just 12 months old.
