Coffee not coming out of the Melitta machine

Please can you assist as I am having a problem with my coffee machine.
Over this weekend, I used the machine and noticed the beans are grinded, however no liquid coffee is coming through. The grinded dry coffee just fell into the drip tray holder/container.
A red light signalled stating “Error 8”
Please advise how I can get this sorted?
