I owned both machines, they do not differ significantly. I think the F-Series is a bit more comfortable to use and I think the cup lighting is very stylish, whether this justifies the extra price, you have to decide for yourself...

Hello, I'm facing the same question. F50 or C5. A "consultant" said the F50 had fewer setting options, which I don't quite believe now.
I'm the only coffee drinker in the household and the C5 is a pure luxury, but the F50 looks a lot more valuable to me.

I have had the F50 for several years. I am actually quite satisfied, BUT: you can hardly clean the thing really - only with a lot of screwing. There is mould at every corner and edge inside the Jura, the brewing unit is inaccessible.

At Saeco I saw that you can open everything with a small door in front and everything is nicely accessible, also the brewing unit can be cleaned nicely with a cloth. You can even put a tea bag in the brewing unit of the Saeco, switch it on and you have a tea.

Therefore my next machine is a Saeco.

if there is mould in the mashcine I say it is now directly out there simply the cleaning intervals and care observed by the user is not carried out correctly.
That is:
Cleaning program for brewing group after 180 covers carry out.
Here the brewing group is rinsed with over 80°X hot water and cleaned.
The set container should be emptied every day and cleaned with wamen water.

I find'it much worse that the supposed quality of a fully automatic coffee machine is determined by whether you can put a tea bag in the brewing group . Even after reading it several times I don't think that testerhuber is serious about that and if he is, I wish him a lot of fun brewing tea with the Saeco in the future (if you really want to get into his pants, I recommend a Talea ) duckundweg

I would include the price in the decision

c5 ( LE ) = 599
f50 ( relaunch ) = 929

from ease of use, the f50 is much easier, but if you don't necessarily need a display c5 the first choice, just by the price
