I am extremely dissatisfied with the product Impressa S90 The year of manufacture of the machine series no.: 200110030005008 is 10/2001. The machine is cleaned by us according to the Jura regulations and after 50 container fillings with new Claris filter cartridges provided. For us the mistake is almost always the same, namely the frother for the milk does not work. Since the beginning of the purchase, in addition to the maintenance costs for filters and cleaning cartridges, additional repair costs of approx. 160€ per year are incurred. This year the machine was 3 times for repair on:
1. On 14.01.2010 for 199€
2. On 10.10.2010 for 69€
3. On 04.12.2010 for 130€
Total I spent this year 388€ only for repairs. When I asked Jura how it could be that, despite the guarantee promise, the repairs were more or less successful, I was told that there would be annual repair costs for the car and that the car would have to be inspected every year. Here maintenance costs (filters, cleaning tablets) are equated with repair costs. It upsets the customers when they're obviously considered stupid. If one had such exorbitantly high repair costs for every electrical appliance in the household such as dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, freezer, dryer etc., nobody could afford such an appliance.
I must urgently advise against buying a Jura machine after these long-term experiences.
