Hello, I bought a CVA 620 and when I get my coffee a part of the water comes into the drip tray after the brewing process is finished. I googled once and wanted to do a cleaning program first but in menu after language comes only system 1 and 2 and not rinsing as it is described in the description. How do I do the cleaning, what does system 1 and 2 mean and why does the water come out under it?
Please help me. Thank you Adrian

That some residual water is drained into the drip tray after the brewing process is normal for all coffee machines with pressure brewing is normal.

That you have no cleaning program is due to an old software version.
Cleaning then takes place by inserting the entire brewing group and the coffee outlet in water with coffee fat solvent such as PulyCaff.

System 1 and 2 are the heating systems. System 2 is responsible for steam generation, no. 1 for coffee.

Thank you very much for the quick response,
Help that with the residual water when I revise and grease the brew group? Does less water come out or no water at all?

The residual water has to go somewhere, if nothing more (visible) comes out the device would be broken and probably leaves it in its innards.

How much comes there you hide so far, so my glass ball has problems to tell if it can get less.
Up to one shot glass per brewed cup is normal.

Hello, this is how it comes out, but I thought that it is not normal because it is not the case with delonghi. I change my equipment all the time and only at Miele do I have the problem. Jura didn't do this and Delonghi 3000, 3200, 3240, 3500, 3300 none did.
But if you say that Miele is normal then I won't keep it any longer sad.gif

That can't be right in form. Both Jura and DeLonghi have water running into the drip tray, just like Siemens, WMF, Quickmill, Krups and so on. The exact amount may vary depending on the amount and degree of grinding as well as the frequency of rinsing cycles, but the drip trays are NOT just for people who can't hold a coffee cup.

Hello, I'm not talking about rinsing, but after the machine has made a cup of coffee, a small amount of water comes out under the brewing group. It's been more before, but I cleaned the sieve and there was less. I now have another Delonghi Eleganza standing in the kitchen and it doesn't lose after brewing. So all the models from Delonghi and Jura I had for 3 years have no water loss after the brewing process only with this model.

Then your Delonghi and above all the Jura (leaves a little more water) are obviously defective.

Also I'm talking about brewing.
Rinsing was only mentioned because there's a little more draining.

When you finally write how much water you still have big as "loss" you can also guess if it can really be less or if it's a disturbance.
