Siemens EQ.5 Macchiato Plus

Hello everyone,
we bought the EQ5 Macchiato Plus yesterday. Then we connected them and did everything exactly as described in the BA. Then the machine should rinse at first and then you should be able to make the 1st coffee. But it didn't flush, it just made a loud noise, like coffee grinding, but water wasn't drawn. Then we tried to make a Cafe Crema, then we got the error message "Check water tank" and nothing works. Only the coffee is ground, but no water comes out. The water tank isn't too full either, it's really in there and if you press the water tank at the bottom of the opening, water will come out. But apparently the water doesn't flow into the machine.... What can we do. It's Sunday, tech. Hotline only again tomorrow attainable......

Hello,

The device has already been vented-
The best time is to simply draw hot water for a good 10 sec then water must come out

Vented???? So not from us.... I don't know how and the hot water doesn't work, just makes a loud noise and then comes the same error message

The system must be filled with water so water must be obtained. Hot water button is above the start button

I tried that again with the hot water, but it didn't work out. The part makes only a mega loud noise and then the error message comes back after a few seconds....

What does it say about the startup? The venting sounds logical.
