I would like to share my experiences with the Phillips Saeco Syntia(stainless steel).

First impressions:

Coffee is very easy and quick to adjust.
Machine is quiet.
Water and grounds container are small but that was clear and for my requirements completely sufficient.
You read in the net öfers that the cappuccino is too cold .... there is something to it.
coffee temp. fits but the milk is measured with professional device at the outlet only about 45° warm. I put a milk nozzle with a smaller cross-section on the suction hose (from a WMF) and already get to 55-65° (depending on the hole size).
I'm also going to put the capper. Compare temp and post pictures.
The grinder could grind the coffee finer, if I get a spare grinder, I'll try to work on it.
I only drink espresso, it's already very good.
Another improvement was the processing of the drip tray with a polishing flow, because scratches were visible on the high gloss surface (logical), now everything is slightly matt and fits better to the overall look.
The cleaning can hardly be easier for a VA with milk system....until now very satisfied with the Syntia.
