Hello,

> just took a closer look at the Nivona devices at Nivona and ask me where the difference should be? Everything I noticed:
The 855 is the only one that has: "Cup parking area actively heatable" - which I can do without. Between the 845 and 830 is only that the 830 compared to both others still the DUO at the point "OneTouch-SPUMATORE (Cappuccino at the touch of a button)" missing! (can do without making 2 Capouccinos at once - especially with 100€ difference).
For each time the one "equipment difference" always 100€ difference - or have I overlooked something?
The owners of the Nivona devices should be as satisfied as with WMF mostly (bad experiences are unfortunately also with the best companies again and again)
What I noticed so far during the offer search: 6 dealers found, all demand practically the same. I've never seen a price synchronization like this before. Unless I buy in Poland - there's a "price jump" to see. rolleyes.gif

I assume the 855 and 845 are the successors to 850 and 840? Are there any differences except for the name? (The predecessors (?) are still offered - and of course cheaper)

Hi, we also looked at all of them and didn't find more differences than the ones you described.
We decided for the 830 because we don't need the cup heater and the double caps either.
We've had the machine since November 11 and are very satisfied.
Delicious coffee, super-light cleaning and very quiet overall, so that in our open kitchen we can also start them up at 6am (without everyone falling out of bed who actually wants to sleep).
Résumé: We would buy them again!

Achja, the prices: The Nivonas are offered only at specialist dealers and are subject to a manufacturer price link. They're only available with a difference of 5 or 10 Euro, but they don't tear out either.

Hello coffee bean,

thanks for the helpful info!
thanks for the decision if it will be a Nivona.
In consideration I still have (price range up to 1000€):
WMF 450 around 1010€
Bosch VeroBar Exclusiv around 890€
Bosch VeroBar 100 around 780€

If I look at it at Bosch,
http://www.bosch-home.com/de/product-compa...59DE,TES703F1DE
the exclusive VeroBar 300 is cheaper by 70€. The only difference to "normal 300" is at:
ADDITIONAL_PROPERTY_15 a DMK instead of DPC - whatever this property means?
The only difference between 300 and 100 at temperature levels:
100: hot water: 2 levels, coffee: 3 levels
300: Hot water: 4 steps, coffee: 3 steps
Whereby, if it's only about hot water extraction and not about the water temperature for making coffee, I don't care!
The 100 has no cup preheating - also no matter for me.
The 300 has a milk container with it, because I think it's superfluous, because it also goes directly from the milk package or another container.
I overlooked any differences?

The Nivona offers the most comfort (I can mean "coffee", which I don't find at the VeroBar) and what I read should be more or less the same as the VeroBar. I find the milk solution also better made with the Nivona. The VeroBar is the only one (mentioned here) where I have to put the cup for the milk somewhere else.
The WMF450 has an all-in-one output, which I think is great (should, what I can see, the Nivona also have - or?)
The WMF is probably the company of the three that offers the most reliable technology.

(By the way, I only know so few answers at so many visits "coffee forums" (2))

Hello xyler,

if by an all-in-one exit you mean that you don't have to change the cup to get milk and coffee, then yes, it does.
It has the milk outlet in the middle, to the left and right of it the two coffee outlets and a little further to the left the hot water outlet.

The milk system is designed so that the distance from the milk package to the outlet is as short as possible. This allows everything to be cleaned quickly and easily. When you have obtained milk, she asks you after 1 minute to rinse the milk. You can do it, but you don't have to. Nevertheless, you can still get milk foam.

However, you notice very quickly on the milk foam if it is somewhere no longer so perfectly continuous. So I always rinse the milk system very soon after I move in and once a week I dismantle the milk system and clean the hose and outlet with a brush.

>It's totally easy.

>You're regularly asked to clean and descale.
You can also ignore the messages and make coffee until you have time for it.

About the Boschs I can't tell you anything; I don't know what the abbreviations mean.

We bought our machine from a dealer who sells Nivona, WMF, DeLonghi and Jura.
He had a lot of trouble with the service at WMF lately and wanted to dissuade us from the service at WMF.
And seen in proportion, he would have fewer repairs at Nivona than at the others. So his statement.

We have relied on it now. Let's see when there's trouble for the first time. I have tried the Nivona Hotline before and was pleasantly surprised.
Very fast, nice and competent help (had questions about water filter and decalcification).

I wish you a lot of fun while choosing and trying.

The difference between the Nivona 830 and 765 is, that the 765
OneTouch-SPUMATORE (cappuccino at the push of a button)
is missing and of course also the corresponding cleaning
Automatic rinsing care for OneTouch-SPUMATORE

>What is the exact cappuccino at the push of a button?
Does it only mean that I don't have to press the button twice - 1x for espresso and 1x for foamed milk?
And the automatic dishwashing system cleans my milk and coffee area at the touch of a button instead of 2?

Couldn't I realize the Capuccino at the push of a button via "My coffee"?

What exactly do the 765 missing
Personally programmable coffee recipes ?
What exactly can I not program with the 765?

Always the price difference between the two KVA is about 150€ and the only difference should be a bit more software - because on the HW side the 765 must have the same requirements as the 830.

@Kaffeeböhnchen

oh schön - seems to have written almost simultaneously with me ... biggrin.gif
Yes, that's how I understood the milk exit wink.gif
Yes, what sellers say - even if they offer both brands ...
I don't trust them because you never know where they have higher profit margins blink.gif To trust", I should have had good experiences already.
Jura has actually died for me again, because of the not removable brewing unit.
Naja - Nivona is a Swiss company and Swiss companies usually have a good reputation when it comes to quality.

Must buy via internet anyway, as I can't find a shop for WMF coffee machines or Nivona in Vienna where I can look at and taste it in Natura.
The dealer where I bought my screen holder is a very good one - but only has screen holders and hundreds of coffee types biggrin.gif - so nothing with KVA.
(dealer was several times with me, because there was a problem with my machine (again and again a water varnish under it) - on site service was part "of his" warranty)

Thanks for the info
Valentin

Cappu at the touch of a button means exactly that. Put the cup down and press a button. First the milk is prepared, then the coffee is added.

If you can program it on the 765 "My Coffee", I can't imagine, but I don't know.

For programming: With the 830 you can set all parameters, i.e. coffee quantity, water quantity, milk quantity, milk froth quantity and temperature for all coffee specialities to your personal taste.
You can also intervene in the recipe and change what you want during the purchase. The saved settings are retained, however.

I have programmed a Cafe Latte to "My Coffee", because I still missed it with the available coffee specialities.

OK - thanks, the answer turned out as expected.
As expected, I guess I can't/do not want to do without the multi-functionality of the 830.

Think about it, it will. I just have to take a closer look at the WMF 450 and WMF 500, because they would cost practically the same.

If I can change all parameters in the settings of the 830 - what is the "My Coffee" advantage of?

In fact, if several people use the machine, a particularly different recipe can be programmed without having to change the parameters each time the machine is used. In the beginning my son had his coffee Lungo on it, because he wanted especially strong coffee.
In the meantime he has become a normal drinker and now there is just a Cafe Latte.

Thanks for the support - all clear!

>I have now narrowed the choice to
CafeRomatica 830
or
WMF 500 (450 doesn't offer OneTouch-Capuccino, and as I realized today, I want that.)

Hello xyler

I can only warmly recommend the WMF 800 to you. With a little luck you can get it for 1250 EUR. If your budget doesn't allow it, then it's the WMF 500. I would also easily classify it above a Nivona. The much higher price for a Nivona must of course be taken into account.

Look at the machines again exactly on site. The WMF brewing group (from Schaerer - also used in gastronomy machines) is in a class of its own. Compare them to a Nivona. Also otherwise construction of a WMF is already very well thought out - Connect & Clean system, housing also from the inside very easily to clean, high-quality disk grinder etc.

Sowas makes itself however only later noticeable. When they're new, most people make good coffee. You can have problems with any manufacturer, as you mentioned yourself.

I can understand your decision against Jura. For me, too, a non-removable brew group is a KO criterion.

Hello Pai Mei,

thank you, I expected similar answers biggrin.gif
I found an offer for the WMF 800 for 1.200€ for an exhibit (460 covers) and give one year warranty.
Where else a used WMF 800 with still 9 months warranty around 950€ (find the dealer - better workshop - on the fast no more)
Problem with all these offers is that they are from Germany and I in Vienna, what can make it in warranty cases often laborious ... (and also the dispatch expensive - if e.g. for warranty case necessary ...)

In Austria is to date the most favorable what I found the Amazon around 1.375€ and with that I know that there are no problems with warranty cases.

Mir the big advantage (for me!) of the WMF 800 over the 500 has not yet opened up. The only visible advantage is that I suspect the 800 is more robust. The next 2-3 years I have a consumption of about 30 cups per week (after that it will more than double if girlfriend moves to me).

Must also say that the Nivona devices also mostly has very satisfied users. But I still believe that the WMF quality is a little higher. The Nivona is the better toy, I suppose. There you can probably play around with more programmable settings. wink.gif
(Optically she says to me pretty much the most - but is no warriorium for me (but for my girlfriend, who is not asked but tongue.gif )

Last but not least: If I am convinced that e.g. 300€ more is worthwhile for the 800, then I would also spend it. Only that it's worth it for me, I didn't know yet unsure.gif

(Well, where to look in Vienna - nothing found yet ...)

Nachtrag - I found the workshop:
Demonstration device with only very few covers fresh from the workshop with 12 month xxx Coffee warranty for only 1050.00 EUR
very well preserved WMF 800 black almost new, with still 9 month WMF factory warranty!
Sounds good after all. But in Germany ... (with the 9 months still existing factory warranty, should be however indifferent that) He has also Schaerer Opal in the offer - also me Festwasseranschluss.
here an example:
Schaerer Opal fully automatic coffee maker with water tank
machine without varnish in the standard version starting from 390,00 EUR
checked and cleaned
the machine was freshly maintained, is technically in top condition in the not varnished original colour, (anthracite brown or matt black).
the pictures are only example pictures, the purchased machine will be assembled only after the purchase from me according to your wishes.

The most striking differences to the 800 would be thermoblock instead of stainless steel boiler, no latte macchiato function (perhaps important for the girlfriend ?), the spout is also not suitable for high glasses, no Connect & Clean, cone grinder instead of disc grinder (you can hear that), cup capacity 20/day instead of 35/day at the 800 (which should be enough for private use).

And concerning the quality compared to the Nivona, I recommend to inspect the units live on site. That might make things clearer. Not that the Nivona is really bad, but the mech. structure can't keep up with the WMF, which would be more important to me than any programming game.

The WMF 800 has all the settings you need. Brewing temperature, amount of water, amount of milk foam, grinding degree, grinding time, cup size, on and off timer.

I cannot say anything about the prices in Austria. But on Ebay you can already find new devices at that price. But in case of doubt I would rather accept the extra price and order from Amazon.

Ok, Latte Macchiato doesn't interest either of us. We want to drink coffee with milk and not milk with coffee!
We are both cappuccino friends - preferably, so to speak, if at hand - AIDA-style. Means another shot of cream with the frothed milk. I am also a friend of the buggy (which probably outside Vienna/Austria) hardly anyone knows. wink.gif
I don't necessarily see the boiler as an advantage - and I'm not alone with that. Just the decalcification of a boiler? With my sieve carrier, I will probably let the boiler decalcify ... blink.gif
Connect & Clean is nice - but with the 500 I also have that! Only I have to put a glass of water where she gets the water for cleaning - I don't mind. I don't care about noise - if that's what you mean by "you hear". It's in the kitchen. You go there, make your coffee, hear some noise and leave again.

The height of the spouts I will check right away - if the difference is relevant for my glasses/cups! The 500 has all the necessary adjustment possibilities even as much as I know. I'll try to look, too. (The Nivo830 definitely has it.)

But what do you say to the quoted offer at 1,050€ the 800 Black. Looks good, doesn't it? The merchant has 470 ratings on eBay and 100% - so it will be ok (Supplement: Believe you understood, you thought you would pay the premium for a new one - right?)

Adjustment possibility with the 500 looked up:
You can adjust the following settings:
- Water quantity
- Coffee strength
- Milk quantity
- Pre-brewing (aroma development)
So everything can adjust - wouldn't know what she should be able to do more?

Price would be then the conditions so:
WMF 500 around 1.000€ new
WMF 800 black around 1.050€ used with still 9 months guarantee of WMF and 12 months guarantee of the seller
Nivona 830 around 1.000€ new

I have only listed the differences without giving them a great rating.

You can see the individual points quite differently, e.g. we like to drink a latte. wink.gif Whether boiler or instantaneous water heater can be seen differently. But I see the advantages very clearly with the boiler. It works more efficiently (only the water needs to be heated instead of the metal block at the instant water heater), is more durable, and the temperature is stable up to a certain amount of coffee. It's also easier to decalcify.

Then the WMF 500 would be enough for you. In principle, it can do everything the 800 can do, except what I have enumerated. But the most important thing, the brewing group, is identical in both machines.

The offer for the WMF 800 sounds good. Assuming she actually has few references.
