Saeco Odea Giro Plus grinder broken?

Hello coffee machine specialist..

I own a Saeco Odea Giro Plus, the coffee beans used unfortunately had stones.
I took the machine apart and removed the jammed stone between the grinding discs. Nevertheless, there is still a bright humming sound during the grinding process - the motor seems to be running, but the grinding mechanism is blocked.
Is this a self-protection of the machine or is the grinding mechanism broken? Can that be fixed by a layman? My modest knowledge was sufficient to disassemble and reassemble the machine with the help of instructions. I have been especially clever but not hired..
Slowly, the coffee cooking with my Bialetti becomes too exhausting for me...
