Good day,

>The two cup selection buttons and the exclamation mark are constantly illuminated by the above-mentioned fully automatic coffee maker. The machine does nothing after switching on, except for two relay clicks on the motherboard. I spent several hours searching for the fault, exchanged the power board for a new one, exchanged the pump and measured all fuses for continuity. All mechanical switches also show consistent functionality. However, the machine did not succeed and still does not jerk. I suspect that the error could be due to a sensor. Especially I have the electronic reed contact below the gearbox in my sights. Does anyone have any idea what else that could be? Or am I perhaps even right with my assumption? It would be great if somebody could tell me his experiences with this machine, with the same error message. wink.gif

Many thanks.

You need to measure the resistance of the heater. Then try in test mode if everything works.
Bin unfortunately on the wrong PC. I.e. google afterwards.

Hello Looser, hello dear forum,

many thanks for the answer and the tips. I measured the heater and found it to be ok according to the auditor rolleyes.gif. What I don't know is how high the RECOVERY VALUES may be, are there empirical values that could indicate a defect? dry.gif

Regarding the TESTMODUS I googled once and found it. The result was that the potentiometer test on the right was i.O rolleyes.gif . and on the left not i.O. mad.gif the grinder test was OK. rolleyes.gif and the brew drive test was no function mad.gif showed.

Although there are more tests in test mode, I don't know, those were the ones I found when googling.

Who has a clue what the error on my machine might be? Is it like my first guess but the reed contact under the actuator or the heating??? Would be grateful for your help.

So, now I'm at the right PC. rolleyes.gif
Here the resistance values. Please measure it.

Hello dear forum visitors,

was now able to measure the resistance of the heating and came to a value of 43.2 Ohm. That would mean the heater's okay. Now does anyone have an idea what the problem could be.

Many thanks for your help.

General alarm, that can be anything.
The thermal fuses have continuity?
The BG limit switches work? Top NC contact, bottom NO contact.
The drive is not broken/worn?
Reed sensor I don't think. This is not checked in test mode. The engine won't work here, though.

Hello Looser,
hello dear forum visitors,

the thermal fuses have continuity and are at OK. The engine's not broken. The BG limit switches I have measured on passage and are also o.k. What was conspicuous in the test mode could also be related to the measurement I was performing. The drive unit showed no function in test mode. Normally the motor should have a resistance of 190 Ohm. During the measurement, the digital multimeter only deflected briefly and then displayed 0. I'll measure again tonight with an analog and finer multimeter. If the motor does not show any passage, it is obvious that this could be over. What do you think of that? Thank you very much for your tips.

Hello,

my DeLonghi ESAM 2200 is still not working. The two cup selection button diodes and the general error diode still light up constantly when the unit is switched on.

Had me with a professional digitalmutimeter on the troubleshooting made, unfortunately, however, so far without success! Hope after evaluation meienr extensive measurement results someone can help me here.

Here all measured values determined by me at a glance:

A. RECOVERY MEASUREMENTS ***
- Heating: Target 40-54 Ohm; Actual 42.6 Ohm (with and without plug)
- Thermal fuses: each passage
- Thermal sensor: Target 110 KOhm; Actual 112.7 KOhm (with plug disconnected)
- Drive motor: Nominal 210 Ohm; Actual 2.1 MOhm (with plug disconnected); Actual 2.3 Ohm with plug
- Water pump: Nominal 9 MOhm; Actual 2.6 MOhm (with and without plug)

B. MICROSCHALTER-SESORIK-DURANGGSTANGSTEST ***
- Door flap: o.k.
- Lower drawer: o.k.
- Steam tap: o.k.
- Water tank: o.k.
- Upper shut-off BG: o.k.
- Lower shut-off BG: o.k.
(what was noticeable but certainly not relevant in the last test was that "0,8 Ohm" was measured with the switch pressed and 2,1 KOhm)

C with the switch not pressed. RECALL OF REMUNERATIONS ***
Result: 1,249 shares

D. DELONGHI-TEST MODE FOR MACHINES WITHOUT DISPLAY ***
- Knob potentiometer test: lnks no function; right ok
- Brewing group drive test: no function
- Grinder function test: o.k.
- Pump test: no function (1.+2. cup lights up when test button is pressed)
- Heating test: Heating is warm in test mode

E. VOLTAGE MEASUREMENTS IN TEST MODE ***
- Pump: Target 220 V; Is 17 V ~
- BG high = Target 220 V; Is 20.6 V ~
- BG low = Target 220 V; Is 21.5 V ~

Friendly greetings to all frahling lovers
