Bequeathed my old Krups XP7220 to my parents and bought me a WMF 1000. Dear people, I have to tell you, this is the absolute Rolls Royce among the VA. To other machines there are worlds (galaxies) in between. All right, I'll quit. I'm not bragging. No, seriously, the machine is really a different league. I first had to get used to how super quiet her work is. If I think about it, if Jura demands up to 1800 Euro, the 2000 Euro are super well invested. Not a plastic case, made of sheet metal, like it should be. Open a little door on the side and you can easily remove the brewing group. This thing is a huge part, you can see what quality is. I once read somewhere here in the forum that you can't put glasses under the spout, complete nonsense, if you wanted, you could almost put a beer mug under it. I really have to say, every cent is really worth it. Why didn't I just buy one of those things? One should not always look at every cent, especially since in today's stinginess is Geil time everything comes cheaply from China. Quality has its price, and that's a good thing. Dear Saeco or Jura users, please don't answer how great your machines are. It really isn't a comparison;

WMF engineers have been involved in the preparation of coffee since 1880. Now they present their proven professional technology also for private enjoyment: the All-In-One spout with integrated milk nozzle, of course infinitely adjustable in height. No more screwing or changing - here everything comes from one outlet. The Swabians have also developed an antidote to clogged milk nozzles - the world's first milk system rinse.
The WMF 1000 also pampers you with three further comfort programmes: the first rinses the coffee system, the second cleans the inside of the machine and the third decalcifies. Beans are ground in high-quality disc grinders. The heart of the machine - the professional brewer - also guarantees high coffee quality. He moistens the coffee grounds with hot water - so the aroma can unfold better, under high pressure (max. 15 bar) 86 degrees hot brewing water then ensures that all aroma components develop fully.

There you probably stay away the spit!

Dear Aquarius,
so I can calm you down, nothing is going down yet. Well, if I think about it carefully, maybe you're a little right. As you know, coffee is a driving force, but I always make it to the toilet after all. Joking aside, my joy about the new acquisition was really great. I can still be as happy as a little child. And this with the Kasper, my 3 year old son is always happy when dad plays the Kasper. I can live with that!

Dear people, one more thing. You know my open and provocative nature here in the forum. Don't be such a snap. We're here among ourselves and don't have to play the fine people. By the way, I was looking forward to the reactions.

Yes, especially the statement that the coffee grounds are wetted with hot water. As with my Delonghi, by the way.... But we are not ashamed and I congratulate you on your new machine, which looks really noble.
Have fun sipping coffee and trying it out. But you know: With every cup of liquid the danger increases that something runs down your leg laugh.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif ohmy.gif Greetings
Ps. even if I like the WMF 1000 very much, think about how many people are able to invest "schlappe" 2000 Euro in a coffee machine. Mind you, we're talking about the private sector here. rolleyes.gif

Since there is the WMF 1000 pro to buy in May, I would have waited a little with the purchase of the WMF1000 since they go then with the price down.

Guido, I'm not a super earner either. 2,000 euros is certainly a lot of money. You spend so much on a decent TV. You don't buy a machine like that every day. In the past I also liked to buy cheap, the joy didn't last long most of the time. Especially in today's world, where everyone doesn't have so much money, devices have to last a long time. The Swabians are my great role model. They'd rather buy a used Mercedes than a new KIA. I have really noticed it very often, when I bought cheap, I often had to buy several times.

And certainly quality has its price and you should pay attention to it. But somewhere there is certainly a point reached where it starts to really hurt...

Oh, you know, the "expert" man (which subject at all??) likes brands. But his Mercedes is also constantly in the workshop (our Opel by the way not cool.gif )
@ Specialist: You write: WMF nice sheet metal - no plastic... Have you ever looked under that tin before?
What do you think about the coffee spout? Do you think it's beautiful? By the way, the height is not for latte glasses. You have already read correctly here in the forum. It's up to 5 inches high. But WMF latte glasses have 15 cm.
And what do you think about the operation? It's not very intuitive, is it? Have you already learned by heart how often you have to press which key for each drink? And why do I have to press P for OK? Then why doesn't an OK just light up? You're right - this thing is very nice. But it almost stops there.
