Hello to all readers,

I have a problem with my Krups. Some time ago I wanted to have a freshly brewed coffee, press the button and then it happens... The grinder starts to grind and goes to its knees a short time later, sometimes with rattles.
disassembled the machine, the grinder as well. I cleaned it and reinstalled it. The engine with mounting plate also removed, but it was all acidic, everything can be turned clean and easily.
No traces or dirt on the engine Then everything installed again, after 4-5 coffee the whole thing starts again from the beginning. Is it possible that the engine has no more steam or is the setting of the grinder (I know nothing about it) because so important ?
Bin shortly before to buy me a completely new grinder. But before that I wanted to get an opinion if the problem could really come from the grinder.
Mir noticed that the ground coffee powder is jammed at the bottom of the grinder and that could be the reason. After the cleaning it goes w.g. again briefly. I just want to save the effort and the money before I am not sure.
After 2 years the machine was because of, from my point of view, the same problem in the service, there is still warranty. There the machine was cleaned * only *.
Thank you very much for your help..Krups Espresseria Automatic EA 8250

Hello,

If the grinder is blocked, the motor may burn out or be damaged within seconds. It is also possible that the carbons on the slip rings are defective. It could also be that it is due to the power electronics.
I would send the machine to the factory in Solingen. Put a letter in the box that says that the grinder is not working and that errors 1 and 6 occur sporadically. Write that you agree to a repair up to 80€ and would like a quote beyond that.
So, with a little luck you'll get your machine back with new painting, new brewing unit and new water distributor for 75€.

Hello Frahlingliebhaber,
many thanks for the info. That would be an alternative that I'm sure I'll try. Thought first, ok mill exchange and that'll be's. Seems more complicated, though. Thank you very much and I'll get to work....

Gasket, pipe, coffee grinder, radiator, distributor, etc. were exchanged. I'm afraid I didn't bring the bill. It is also possible that only a part of the grinding mechanism has been replaced. But I am very satisfied and glad to have made the step thanks to your tip. Unfortunately, I had to send the machine there again because the coffee was too weak. Has been inspected without any problems and free of charge and device is now on its way to me. Think I'm having fun with my machine again.....Thanks again.

Hello,

I also have a Krups EA 8025, where unfortunately only white broth runs out below. No coffee, I'm afraid. The grinder turns diligently, but it looks a little weak on the chest. I dismantled the machine as much as I could.

The rear panel (U-shape I couldn't separate from the rest.
I suspect that the coffee from the grinder doesn't slide down into the press. Have you ever removed the grinder? How's that?

Tips would be great.

Hello, enter the term "mill" into the Krups forum search. Then you get to the article "Krups XP 7200 case open" and the article "grinder sits down". That should solve your questions / problems. And delete your attached photo. It's beyond the scope of this and I'm scrolling a wolf. Photos with 640x480 are perfectly sufficient.
