Hello dear Forians,

have a problem when switching on my KVA's...

When switching on the machine goes into the autotest. Neither during the rinsing process nor during the autotest does water enter the cup as it is usual!?

After two attempts by the machine to carry out the autotest, the display suddenly shows "error code 06"...

After Internet research, error code 06 indicates that the drainage valve is defective. So I opened the drainage valve. The valve was dirty (coffee grounds?!). I cleaned it, greased the sealing rubbers with silicone grease and reassembled them. The autotest started when I switched it on and everything seemed to be fine again. But during the rinsing process again no water came into the cup... And error code 06...

Wanted to order a new drainage valve from Juraprofi, but they don't have one at the moment (delivery time two weeks!). Will it be just that?

Is there another source of error? Oh, no water escapes from the machine. What I only noticed was that the drawn-in water from the water tank is pushed back into the water tank after the attempted autotest?! I noticed this when I took the tank off shortly after the attempted autotest to open the case. The water came out of the water tank connection.

Hoffe, that you can help me!

Dear Forians,

doesn't anyone have an idea? Had already read in another threat that maybe it could also be the water distributor?

It can only be said once again that everything in the case bottom is dry. When I had cleaned the drainage valve and carried out a test run, water was also fed into the drip container.

After the first successful test run, however, there was again the error message 06!

What exactly does this error message mean?

Wouldn't want to replace everything, even though only a certain part is defective.

Nothing else: The water filter, which is located in the housing, I have to pay attention to a certain direction or can I insert it in any "direction" (photo see appendix!)?

Hello Johi,

As far as I know there is an arrow on the water filter indicating the flow direction.
The water is pushed back into the water tank at the end of a rinsing/brewing process is also normal. This is the water that has been pumped into the hydraulic cylinder. This is pressed back into the water tank by releasing the stainless steel springs in the hydraulic cylinder.
error code 6 means that flow is still measured at the flowmeter, although this should no longer be the case. Maybe this post will help:

The post lists several possible error sources. Is the water running into the drip tray or is there no water at all?
As I said, there can be several causes (including drainage valve), but I can't say exactly "that's it now".

Hello Rudi-03,

>so water doesn't run into the drip pan or the "cup" during the autotest, so through the spout.

Will I read through the threat you have inserted into my system.

What makes me suspicious is that after cleaning the drainage valve the first autotest ran positive, so it goes into the "flush" mode? Yes or no" and when I click on "yes" it returns the error code 06 again...?

Report me again!
