Hello.
My XP 7240 goes after the warm-up phase several times consecutively into the autotest (after completion of a test). If I should clean the pomace container and the cleaning slide ) and then the error code 12 is indicated to me.

Weis one what the error code 12 means ?
About help I would be pleased.

Error 12 means officell exactly

either

Thanks for the quick answer.
DernTip with the water distributor was good.
The screws on the lid were much too tight. Nothing could turn.
Now the machine can't get out of the autotest and pumps the water out of the steam nozzle all the time. And the brewing group doesn't work
I guess the wiring wasn't connected properly.
I have to say that I bought the machine that way.
If anyone had pictures of the wiring it would be super.

Hello Rudi.
Thanks for your help and so far I got the wiring back.
Only the cables on the microswitch behind the control board. I don't know the assignment yet.

Hello Rudi.
I have solved the wiring problem.
It's not that bad.
It's probably the water distributor.
Now the machine stays in the autotest
Autotest ( cleaning the pomace and slider ) several times in a row.
Autotest, Autotest, Autotest ( cleaning pomace and slider ) several times in a row. and then error code 12

The machine also draws some water. but most of it is pumped back into the water tank. ( Only a little vaporized ( You can see at the top of the brewing group. )
The water distributor was probably also disassembled.
and perhaps wrongly assembled. because there are noses where the gears only fit in one position. but you still have to adjust it if you turn it without using the connecting gear (which is to the gearbox) first. and then they are in the wrong position. it looks like i will have to order a new water distributor.

greeting
thorsten

Hello
I will put the topic first on It, because on the one hand it is probably because of the circuit board, because the distributor valve with everything attached to it I have meanwhile excluded,
And I have just got myself a new XP 7240.
Thank you for the help.

Hello Thorsten,
have you tried to control the water distributor in service mode.

As you already recognized: It does not pay to order new parts on suspicion. Especially not at the water distributor. I would have done the same as you. Although I probably would have used an EA model.

Hello Rudi
I did the distributor test.
It goes to the home position and then always one step further.

The pump works, the flehmeter is OK.
The brewing group works and the thermoblock also works.
The control unit is OK too. ( have you just connected to the other machine )
Therefore it can only be that either the control board is defective or the previous owner has used an incompatible one.
Therefore I use it just as a spare part carrier for my new or I find sometime a compatible board.
Thanks again for the help and the tips. They really helped me.

Gruß
Thorsten

Hello have once the same in the display, so the 12 and before the great 06, after I have looked here what all this can be so have now tried a lot.

Now had the little worms taken apart and I knew that she loses water, where from? I don't know, it was the tissue conduit covered with isoband, why? I also looked very sparingly, so I bridged everything and looked where the legendary hole could be.
underbrew chamber removed and saw that the gasket is not so great anymore, the upper two were also no longer bulging.
Had in another forum or here, read that these forum participants had taken from a Jura, so I have taken from my Sortimo which were apparently the same, (no I have not remeasured them) so built in and hoped the bottom I have reinforced with an O-ring (yes is murks and even botched) but had to admit that this high-precision work but their weakness shows the leak was somehow not to plug.

Hold before I do this for too long, the piston O_rings are only slightly thicker 0.4mm and so the piston doesn't fit into the brewing chamber anymore, it stops at the top and after a few autotest minutes throws the error message 12.
So it's not only the WV but it can also have other reasons.

As far as I know, this worm should be treated with special care more than a Saeco KV or a Delonghi KV.
This is an engineer who might one day be able to construct a perpetuum mobile and fly it to Mars.

The Jura seals fit already. However, you must take the older, smaller ones.
