Good evening,

it's all about a Benvenuto Classic Piano this time. The LED for the coffee hot water selector switch flashes. But the switch can be turned normally. Can you assume that this valve is defective, or is it flashing because of something else? In addition, the machine does not pump any water into the pipes, although of course the tank is full. I already ordered a new flowmeter. Heating goes. BE drive also works.

The LED flashes while the machine is not pumping water through the pipes. tongue.gif As long as the flowmeter does not report a flow, the LED will not stop blinking...

Have a nice Sunday,

so there is a drain valve between thermoblock and BE. This is firstly totally calcified and secondly the innermost seal is cracked. Is it possible that no water is pumped despite the new flowmeter? And for what purpose is that valve there? All at first when I tested the gadget the pump ran short, but since then no more.

The flowmeter measures and reports the water flow, your machine seems to be clogged - where, you can't tell from a distance. The AV must be definitely in order, otherwise no water arrives at the brewing group. Does the pump not run at all or does it start very quietly against resistance? In the case of a clogged thermoblock, for example, the pump is barely audible...

Good evening,
so at the next test I have to hear if it is running. I bought this machine for 15 Euro on ebay "auctioned". But no one had bid on it. I was actually thinking of her as a spare part donor for a Benvenuto Classic. But now I'm not quite sure which of them to get back on my feet. With the "classic" the pump has also not yet run. Also I don't know exactly if the pump should start anyway or if the flowmeter will give a signal when it gets water through the pressure of the tank.

Greetings' to you HWS,

Quite stupid question, if you now let the hot water run/start for a few seconds, then what comes out at all?

Hello,
sorry,I didn't realize anything was still being written. No, nothing comes out. The BE drive now moves only very briefly. It's a bug in the power electronics that I'm trying to fix. These power electronics for Bosch Benvenuto Classic are very susceptible to interference. I hope to find out soon enough. Then contact me again.
