Hello,
my machine is about 3 years old (bought May 2010), and after 2+ years was the first water loss (tank valve changed); now she peed again, and I replaced the drainage valve. First it went for a while, then water came out again. I opened it again and saw that the feather was crooked; feather out and the last white plastic particle turned the other way around, because I thought it was wrong and that was the pee ground. But after assembly no water/coffee came out of the nose, the coffee was ground in the pomace (dry), and there was hot water in the collecting container behind. Then opened again, the last piece of white plastic from the drainage valve reversed again, and now it makes a blinking concert: After switching on, the on/off switch and the cleaning symbol flashes, and the brewing unit can suddenly no longer be used properly, more precisely, the latching lever is difficult to bring down to lock.
I am now at the end of my wisdom, what can be misaligned by the constant disassembly? Is there anything you can break? I've read before about a cam valve or something like that, what is meant by that?
I don't know how the last piece of the plastic part of the drainage valve is supposed to be around; in the manual of a Bosch or Siemens machine it's said that you should take care that the bigger part looks in the direction of the drive (Coffeemakers), but unfortunately I can't do anything with that, theoretically it fits so that both the thinner, shorter raised piece is on top, as well as the longer, continuous one.
What else could I do? I don't feel like screwing in and out anymore, I don't know what breaks every time, although you think you just repaired it, now it should work!?!? In addition: Does a submission to Melitta pay off at 150 Euros for such an "old" device at all? Or would you rather buy a new one at the same time?
Really annoyingly nice slow...
I would be very grateful for help and tips!
Greetings
Andrea
