Hot water nozzle flashes; otherwise nothing works

Hello!
At this moment I'm still drinking the - hopefully not the last - coffee from my 6-year-old, very appreciated and so far problem-free Jura Impressa C5.

The following problem: the LED above the hot water nozzle flashes, otherwise nothing is lit. So I turned on the tap, exactly 60ml of cold water came out, then the jet stopped. I turn to but the lamp continues to light. I have now repeated the game several times - with identical outcome.

Background info: I brewed approx. 20 cups of coffee with the machine today, I use it a lot every day and have always gone through all cleaning programs. The descaling program has been deactivated for approx. 2 years after consultation with the Jura Service Hotline. Background: soft Viennese water + Brita water filter (no cartridge in the machine but external filter can) + 2x a year (reliable!) decalcification via the manually started decalcification program.

Anyone of you knows the problem? Can I even solve it myself or do I have to take her to the garage? Is it worth it?

Best thanks in advance!

Hello Rudi!

Many thanks for your quick answer!
I already found the post and was not sure if it was the same problem - but I could imagine it well.
I am not really smart yet how to proceed exactly... - buy a new flowmeter right now?

I have the flowmeter in my hand now. I opened it: looks unspectacular - not clogged and or dirty. Should I now simply buy a new one, or is there a way to check if he is in fact the culprit?

Beauty greetings

Michael

The flowmeter is rarely electronically defective (of course nothing is impossible). Did you put the FM back in after cleaning and test it?
Anyway you can't blow through the pump. wink.gif
