Hello together,

I bought a new "Melitta Caffeo Solo" today and put it into operation according to the operating instructions.

1) Plug in
2) Fill beans
3) Fill water until max fill
4) Switch on

Now according to guidance the symbol for bleeding comes up, what also emerges.

5) Now I'm supposed to push on the bean for the thing to bleed.

When I do that, the machine also rattles slightly and hums approx 2min. The symbol flashes. But there is no (dishwasher-)water or anything else coming out of the machine. After 2 minutes it stops and the symbol is still there. This I have now done good 10x, in between the machine 3x restarted... Nothing else happens. If I press "1x coffee" or "2x coffee" the same thing happens, by the way. The machine clatters its 2min and is then exactly the same as before.

The melitta hotline is unfortunately only mo-fr from 8-18 o'clock occupied, so I would now have to wait until Monday :/

Whit anyone advice? Or did I catch a defective device?

Thanks & Greetings
PW

Apparently occurs more often with this model... The pump is probably completely dry and does not build up any pressure. While the pump is running, try to lift the full tank a few times and put it firmly back on again, sometimes this slight effect is enough to "push" the pump....

Hi. Hi. Hi. Thanks for the answer. I have now done this 3 pumping 10-20x long. Unfortunately without success. I also made water with a pipette in the opening under the tank and put it on again. Also without success.

Other ideas? Or exchange? :/

Then it's better to exchange it, because in order to "forcibly" fill" the pump with hose and syringe, the housing must be opened...

Hello, perhaps you have a syringe from the fundus or in the circle of friends . I mean the one where you portioned children's juice with it I would force the machine to water with running pump.

Hello, thanks for the suggestion. However, I have already returned the device and am waiting for my replacement. I hope it fits better with this one.

Greetings

I had already made the suggestion, but as mentioned before it is only promising, if the case is dismantled, I would not make it with a new device with warranty...

Well, he sent them away already.
I'm forcibly watering them through the water tank outlet. Don't be violent. Well, we come up with the same thing, Numberonedefender.

Hello, how does forced irrigation via the water tank outlet work? My solo pumps and pumps but no longer draws water. Thank you and greetings

How this works is explained in this article... but I doubt the effect... if water flows out of the tank then it is heavier than air, so it will flow to the pump anyway..

Whereby there are certainly isolated cases that swear that this is the solution, I have never had such a case before...

Is rather something clogged in the system or the water filter is still in the tank...

Hello here again the forced filling of the pump, on the part of water inlet nozzle.
Fill the disposable syringe with fresh water, insert the outlet of the syringe into the water inlet nozzle as soon as the pump runs and press the water in with moderate pressure.
If it should not work despite these efforts, it is due to the water circuit.
Water tank/flowmeter/pump/ DLH/ brewing group/ water outlet, then the water circuit will be.
MfG Chris

Hello, it's been a while, but I had the same problem with the Purista. Solution: Descaler in water tank and start again. The device rödelt and it went. Then run descaling program, there is some white stuff comes out. Then run the cleaning program. By the way, if decalcification and cleaning light up at the same time, always decalcify first! Best regards! Peter
