Hello,
[....]
Had been pickled in vinegar again for 1 day, but did not see any new milk flakes floating in the vinegar.
Is there no better liquid for cleaning than vinegar?
wouldn't like to simply dispose of the two frothers, because in themselves they look like new.
Thanks already! |
Hello rather syberstef,a coffee machine with milk frother you should never decalcify with vinegar . Although vinegar consists of water and acetic acid, it is not optimally suited for decalcification. Although vinegar dissolves many deposits, it does not clean the machine as well and, above all, does not remove fats without leaving a residue. Also with vinegar a high odour nuisance is given. The smell of vinegar is also difficult to remove from the machine. In the worst case it can also happen that vinegar residues are not completely rinsed out, then your coffee tastes like vinegar. In addition, vinegar takes longer to pass through than special coffee machine descalers.
Therefore, one should rather orientate oneself to the
guidelines of the manufacturer. It is also better to use special decalcifiers. Most good decalcifiers are based on
milk or citric acid.Greetings!
