Hello,

is still new and thinking about buying a fully automatic coffee machine.
But I wonder what it looks like with the filter change?

If you can only brew 1-2 cups at the machines anyway, you would have to put in a new filter with every single cup or?
In the long run that would be a waste, because I would like to drink 3 cups in the morning and if my girlfriend is there it could be 2x3 cups for both of us.

Is there an economical or sensible solution or do you all have to take one coffee filter per cup?

With a fully automatic coffee machine there is no filter change, there are permanent filters, the so-called brewing sieves inside. This means that you only have to press the button for coffee, empty the marc container from time to time, fill up with water and beans, rinse the brewing group under hot water approx. once a week. Decalcify if necessary.

Hello gTskorpion, I can only encourage you to buy yourself such a fine coffee machine! I did it too and I really love that thing!
It was the best purchase in years. And if you ask me which part I'm so happy with - yes, that's the DeLonghi EAM 3500 Autom. Cappuccino, super easy to use, super service and a great taste experience, whether espresso, normal coffee, cafe latte ... and the cappu at the push of a button. gif' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

Most devices also indicate when they need to be cleaned/decalcified. The water tank should also be cleaned regularly and the water should not be "left in" all the time.
