Hello,
bin now shortly before me to buy a VA wanted to buy me a JURA F70
or rather a J5, but some contributions in this forum have led me
in relation to brewing unit clean and service and warranty and price to Delonghi.
Now I am not so the Capu and Late drinker so I probably do not need
ESAM 3500 or 4500 so I have come to the ESAM 4400 but unfortunately stands in this forum not so much about the ESAM 4400.
I have now ordered them, subject to availability, because Delonghi has delivery problems, at a price of 480€.
Has anyone had any experience with the VA or is someone advising me
not to use Delonghi.?

first time thanks

if you don't need milk foam or only rarely, one ESAM 3000 or 4000 is actually enough.

On 03.01.2008 I bought an ESAM 4400 and brought it back to the dealer on 08.01.2008.

Reason: the temperature of the espresso is, with preheated cups and highest temperature setting of the machine, at most just hot enough. It's the same with the purchase of coffee, about 180 ml to 200 ml: just drinkable.

That doesn't meet my expectations.

But, let's wait, the machine is for repair, maybe it's the thermostat.

I've had the same experience with a 3000. But with the 3400, you can also preselect the temperature, right?

Yes, you can choose the temperature between "normal", "medium" and "high".

I had the setting "high" and still the espresso is at most 55° C warm.

The kann´s not to be!

So, since Friday the machine is back again.

repaired: NICHTS!!!

>The temperature at the outlet, according to DeLonghi, is 85° C,. and would not be objectionable. I don't check kann´s and take it this way.

My experience of the last two days: The coffee is hot with a normal and large cup, i.e. quantity from approx. 180 ml and temperature setting "high".

The espresso, i.e. the small quantity up to max. 80 ml., is drinkable at the same temperature setting, how should I put it? It is hot, but you should not let it stand for 1 min. or 2 min. or possibly with some fruit brandy or the like. "extend". Then he's not hot enough. Not to me anyway.

I will probably have to live with it and regret my decision for the fully automatic coffee maker already now.

I would have invested my money better in a good sieve carrier machine and bought an espresso grinder for it.

But to save your honor: the big cup of coffee tastes great, there is no conventional (filter)coffee machine ran!

If necessary, rinse the espresso cup with hot water / preheat...
