E8 - frequently empty coffee grounds container

Hello together,

>we have had an E8 for over 12 months and we are fully satisfied with a small flaw.

Very often the machine reports emptying after a cup of coffee grounds container even though there are only the leftovers from a cup in it. Then it must be cleaned first and then it goes on ...

Can someone explain it to themselves, Jura Service on the phone was only very limited help ..

Presumably you empty your container every evening, but the machine doesn't get it.

Ergo the internal counter goes one further with each cup and then reports after x cups "empty coffee grounds container" - my Giga does the same.

I agree. The machine counts the covers and thus knows how much pomace is in the container. If you empty the pomace container with the machine switched off, she won't notice. There are also machines which have a monitoring of the filling level of the vault shell, similar to the bean filling level monitoring. Then the "monitoring contacts" must be checked or simply cleaned.

Nach dem Leeren auch die Kaffeesatzreste entfernen- die hängen an der Klappe die man ertasten kann und an dem kleinen Absatz (ebenfalls ertastbar),
Habe, seitdem ich das nach jedem Leeren mache keine Probleme mehr gehabt.
Unser Automat ist jetzt 8 Jahre alt
